Bus Renovation
Description: TCI offers a complete body, paint and limited mechanical service. Parts will meet Texas specifications when applicable. Listed below are certain guidelines to be followed:
- It will be the responsibility of each school or eligible agency to arrange pick-up and delivery of their vehicle to the facility.
- Remove any first aid kits, flares, fire extinguishers or tools from the vehicle.
- Have written instructions as to the service you wish performed on each vehicle.
- At the time of pick-up, the plant supervisor and agency representative will make visual inspection of each vehicle. Any noted discrepancies will be corrected prior to the vehicle leaving the TDCJ facility.
- The Texas Department of Criminal Justice will not be responsible for any service not performed by the facility.
- Exterior and interior paint will be under warranty for one year.
Services and products for 19 to 72 passenger buses:
- A/C Replace or Repair
- Complete Exterior Paint
- Upholstery (Seat backs, Bottoms and Foam)
- Complete Mechanical (Engine, Transmission, Brakes, Suspension, and Exhaust)
- Body Work
- Complete Floors
- Electrical Services (Repairs and New L.E.D. Lighting, Stop Signs, etc.)
- Special Project Work (Refurbish Fire Trucks, etc.)
