Texas Correctional Industries (TCI) is a department within the Manufacturing, Agribusiness, and Logistics Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ). TCI manufactures goods and provides services to support TDCJ as well as other governmental entities across Texas and the United States. While providing these benefits to the State of Texas, TCI is also able to provide inmates with training and job skills to prepare them for a successful reentry. Learn more about TCI.
TCI may sell products or services to city, county, state and federal agencies, public schools, public and private institutions of higher education, public hospitals and political subdivisions as well as TDCJ, Windham School District (WSD), University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) and Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC) current and retired employees, Texas Board of Criminal Justice (TBCJ) current and past board members, current and past members of the State Legislature and other governing bodies, and elected officials.
